Who are Viden

Owners and directors, Tim Day and Mark Patterson are both Chartered Professional Engineers with extensive local and international experience.

Based in Christchurch, Viden has a wide range of experience in the design of architectural homes, bridges, retaining walls and seismic strengthening of commercial buildings. Our team has been involved in construction projects throughout Canterbury and New Zealand since 2011.

We have an in-depth understanding of the engineering needs shaped by New Zealand's unique environmental conditions, particularly those of the Canterbury region.

We are proud to have been involved in many exciting projects such as the Christchurch Museum Redevelopment, Temporary Hauling Bridges for the Scott Base Redevelopment, modular classrooms throughout New Zealand, the Christchurch Metro Sports Facility, and the Ryman Northwood Retirement Village.
